The Shepard Fairey exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston is not to be missed. This was one of the most fun, engaging and accessible collections I have ever seen. There were hundreds of pieces and the subject matter ran the gamut from Chairman Mao to Joe Strummer to Iraqi civilians to President Obama. Truly something for everybody and overall just a really cool show.
You've most likely seen some of Shepard Fairey's work whether you realize it or not. Check out his website to learn more about the most important pop/urban/street artist of our generation.
